A Celebration of Queer Authors and Stories
Our collection is curated to represent the full spectrum of LGBTQIA+ identities and we're proud to uplift local authors, indie publishers, and expand access to queer literature.
Pride & Community
We strive to create a welcoming, comfortable, and equitable space in our store, virtually, and in the greater Washington, D.C. area through community events including book clubs, author talks, and more! At Little District Books, Pride isn't just during June but every day!
DC's only Queer Bookstore
When you walk into Little District Books, you won't have to look for the LGBTQ+ section because every single book in our store is written by, about, and for queer folks!
Located on Pennsylvania Ave. in historic Capitol Hill.
Open Tue - Fri 11 am to 7 pm | Sat & Sun 11 am to 6 pm
TRANS LIBERATION NOW.
From Stone Butch Blues to Nevada to Miss Major Speaks and beyond, trans* stories and people have guided our imagination and movements throughout queer history. We look to celebrate, protect, and honor our friends, families, and loved ones who are embodying the resilience and brilliance of trans* life every single day <3
