ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jasmine Skye is a queer-romantic, gray-ace, bigender fantasy author. Growing up, Jasmine learned sword fighting, folk dancing, and equestrian skills through the SCA, a medieval re-creation organization. In college, Jasmine studied psychology, anthropology (with a specialization in Native and Indigenous Studies), and writing. S/he earned a Master's in creative writing from the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast Program. Jasmine has a dog, a cat, and a snake, grew up with horses and chickens, and expects to own a menagerie by the time s/he’s fifty. When s/he’s not writing, Jasmine works with high schoolers across Texas as a DEI outreach coordinator. Daughter of the Bone Forest is Jasmine’s debut novel.
ABOUT THE CONVERSATION PARTNER
Ciera Burch is the author of Something Kindred and Out of Step, into You. She has a B.A from American University and an MFA from Emerson College. When she’s not reading or listening to podcasts, she can probably be found playing Dungeons & Dragons, eating ice cream, or trying to learn how to crochet. While she is originally from New Jersey, she currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her stuffed animals and far too many books and D&D dice.
