Art Consignment Program

Eligibility
The Art Consignment program is limited to artists of the LGBTQIA+ community who are local to the DMV area and are capable of dropping off and picking up their own artwork. Little District Books is interested in consigning paintings, prints, photography, small sculpture/pottery and other 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional pieces. Little District Books is not currently consigning books.

Content
There are no theme limitations to artwork for consignment, but the subject matter must generally be suitable for display in an all ages environment (think PG-13). 

Pricing
The Artist sets the retail price of the artwork.
Little District Books keeps a 40% commission on the retail price.

Size Limits on Artwork
2-Dimensional artwork must be no larger than 24” x 36” and ready to be hung on the wall.
3-Dimensional artwork must be no larger than 8”W x 8”D x 10”H

Consignment Process
If you are interested in consigning art with Little District Books, please email shop@littledistrictbooks and include either photo samples or a link to view samples of your work, along with expected pricing information. If we are interested in consigning your work, we will email to set up a consignment appointment to evaluate pieces in person and sign an agreement. Pieces will be selected for consignment on an individual piece by piece basis and we will generally only take 1-5 unique pieces or designs from a single artist at a time.
