6 Mini Dates (6 Minutes Each) (an increase from 5 dates in September)

For our October Queer Speed Dating, we are switching the format slightly. Instead of pre-matching dates and providing specific icebreakers, we will be using a round robin system and provide bookish icebreakers for each round. The new system will allow us to better accommodate last minute cancellations and get the matches out the door faster. 

If both participants indicate there is interest after the date, we will share the emails with both daters after the event has concluded. As a change to the matching process, we will also be adding an option for people to indicate either platonic friend match or romantic match. 

To complete signup for the event, you only need to purchase a ticket. There is no survey to fill out for our October speed dating nights. 

Sapphic Night Romantasy Edition - October 6
This is a trans/nonbinary inclusive night for women and nonbinary people dating other women and nonbinary people. For the Romantasy Edition night, the icebreaker questions will be tailored to readers of the Romance and Fantasy genres. 

T4T Night - October 8
This is an exclusive night for trans/nonbinary people dating other trans/nonbinary people. 

Sapphic Night Macabre Edition - October 14
This is a trans/nonbinary inclusive night for women and nonbinary people dating other women and nonbinary people. For the Macabre Edition night, the icebreaker questions will be tailored to readers of the Horror, Thriller, Suspense, and Dark Fantasy Genres. 

All Gender Night - October 15 
For people of all genders dating people of all genders. 

Additional nights with new themes, pairings, and age brackets are in the works. 

Event starts at 7:30pm and is expected to take 60-90 minutes.

Event capped at 28 people per night. Event will proceed as long as 10 people sign up for the night, but will cancelled and refunded if less than 10 people sign up. 

We will have an 'at the door' waitlist for any no-shows the day of the event. 

The event will be taking place on both floors of Little District Books. If you have mobility needs that prevent climbing the 3 steps to the upper level, please let us know by email (events@littledistrictbooks.com) so we can accommodate. This will not impact date matching.

This event is non-refundable 72 hours prior the event.
